  • Seattle boys Beat Connection spotlight the Product 3 track "Rosealene," which you can watch a live performance of below. Watching online not enough?   • Brooklyn dream-poppers Wild Nothing share not one, but two new tracks today from their forthcoming full-length Life of Pause. Check out the singles "To Know You" and "TV Queen" below. Founding songwriter Jack Tatum recorded the album in Los Angeles with Medicine’s Brad Laner, and in Stockholm with producer Thom Monahan and John Eriksson, the "John" in Peter Bjorn & John. Life of Pause is out February 19th via their long-time label Captured Tracks. [Spin]

  • The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart have been generous with the fun covers lately. Not only do they cover the 1993 James single "Laid" on their latest EP, Hell, but this morning, frontman/founder Kip Berman shared a home-recorded demo version of his take on the 1992 Tori Amos track "China," off her breakthrough Little Earthquakes release.   • When your brother's a film director, your band has no shortage of videos to share, and today EL VY (beloved collaboration between The National's Matt Berninger and Menomena/Ramona Falls' Brent Knopf) launch a clip for the track "No Time To Crank The Sun." Director Tom Berninger captures behind-the-scenes footage of the band recording their debut, Return to the Moon, rendering the clips in crisp black and white.
