  • Eagles of Death Metal have returned to Paris for the first time since the November 18 terror attacks. Last night, during a U2 concert, Bono welcomed EODM to the stage, saying, “They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago. We would like to offer them ours tonight.” Together they performed a cover of Patti Smith’s “People Have the Power,” which you can watch on Periscope around the 32 minute mark. This morning EODM’s Jesse Hughes and Julian Dorio visited the Bataclan Theater, where they were playing when the attacks took place, to pay their respects to the 89 people who lost their lives. • Singer-songwriter Ezra Furman is a very busy guy. He’s just announced a huge US tour to promote his latest album Perpetual Motion People, he’s writing a book as part of Lou Reed’s Transformer series, all while churning out new music. Today he’s debuted “The Prisoner” which sound like it’s straight out of the 1930s. [CoS]

  • It’s been seven years since Prince headlined at Coachella, and for some reason he’s decided that today would be the day he’d grace us with a little taste of that performance. Since 2008, he’s had all footage of his cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” taken down and Thom Yorke was not amused. The Radiohead frontman said, “Really? He’s blocked it? Well, tell him to unblock it. It’s our song.” It’s been a hot minute, but it seems Prince has finally relented. Watch the performance below. [CoS]
