  • The Arcs, Dan Auerbach’s new music project, have released a brand new single called “Fool’s Gold.” In an interview with Rolling Stone, Auerbach described the meaning of Fool’s Gold as having “the same thrilling discovery, the same shiny luster and perceived weight as gold, but it isn’t gold and when all is said and done, it has the same value as a hunk of shit. It’s always been so easy to be a fool.” The song will be featured on the album 30th Century Records Compilation Album Volume 1 (out December 18) from Danger Mouse’s new label 30th Century Records. • Yumi Zouma have shared the video for their ethereal dance track “Second Wave.” The video features shots of some stunning landscapes intermixed with footage of the New Zealand dream pop outfit performing on a gorgeous beach. Their new 11-song EP Collection 12″ is out now and available here. [Stereogum]

  • Taking a break from their current string of NYC shows, Sleater-Kinney stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. The indie rock trio dished out an energetic performance of their No Cities to Love track “Bury Our Friends.” Watch below. [Pitchfork]

  • Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” is more than just a dancefloor sensation, it’s now become a cultural phenomenon. W Magazine chose 13 celebrities – including Bryan Cranston, Kristen Wiig, Rooney Mara, and Amy Schumer – to do a dramatic reading of the track. It’s incredibly bizarre and wonderful. [SPIN]
