  • We've always known Seattle band Tangerine were sweet, but as if to prove it, they've got a new EP titled Sugar Teeth coming out in February on Swoon Records. Swoon, indeed! Check out the first single, "Tender," below. Sugar Teeth hits the streets on February 19th, and the trio play Neumos on Thursday, January 14th with S. [Noisey]

  • Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche brings his sophisticated-pop stylings to one of the hottest singles of the year: stream his cover of Drake's "Hotline Bling" below. As Lerche himself says on Soundcloud, "What the world needs now, is not yet another cover of 'Hotline Bling,' sweet lord. But there's no other huge song of 2015 I had wanted to sing more than Drake's irrational, wounded instant classic.   • The FCC's favorite band, Holy Fuck, share their first new music in five years today via Twitter. Check out the trailer, filmed by Norman Wong and edited by Henry Sansom, below. As the tag indicates, new music is on its way in 2016. [Pitchfork]

  • After nearly 30 years, goth-pop legends The Cure revisit their obscure b-side "A Few Hours After This" for the BBC crime-drama show Luther. Show creator Neil Cross explains, "I have been an obsessive fan of The Cure since I was 13. After we had finished shooting the second episode of this special, I phoned the producer and said there is this really obscure Cure track – an extra track on a 12-inch single called ‘A Few Hours After This’ – which I have always loved and think it would really go. Long story short, we contacted Robert Smith and he re-recorded the song.
