Seattle's Lemolo specializes in the kind of dark, introspective, and haunting music that fit so well in the old live performance space at KEXP's Dexter studio (and will surely fit in the new one as well!), which is perhaps one reason we keep asking them back. Ahead of the release of their 2015 album, Red Right Return, Meagan Grandall and touring drummer Adrian Centoni came in to chat with DJ Troy Nelson about the new album as well as a lack of vinyl plants in the world. Red Right Return sees Grandall continuing the dark and dreamy soundscapes that were created on 2012's The Kaleidoscope with an added strength that as Troy Nelson points out "keeps getting better." There's a reason that the band has been named one of the Best Seattle Bands by Seattle Magazine, voted Best New Band by City Arts Magazine, and named one of the Top Bands Rocking Seattle Music by Seattle Magazine.
