Bob Dylan has been a household name for the past fifty years. Though his timeless tunes never really get old, a slew of local acts are setting out to give them new life. On Thursday, March 10, the Tractor Tavern, Bob Dylan Cover Night, a benefit for KEXP’s New Home, will be hosted by Galen Disston of the beloved Seattle band Pickwick. Disston himself curated the lineup, which will feature artists like The Moondoggies, SISTERS, Spinning Whips, Hannalee, Christ King and the Gutterballs, Goldfinch, Wall of Ears, Eric Miller, Ruler, Signal Flags, and The Crystal Pain, putting their own spin on various Dylan classics.
Tickets are going fast, and the show is sure to sell out, so be sure to get yours now. All proceeds benefit KEXP’s New Home campaign.
To get you in the right mood, we’ve prepared a playlist of these local acts and some Dylan classics for your Subterranean (New) Homesick Blues:
