  • Rostam Batmanglij, who announced his departure from Vampire Weekend in January, has shared a new solo single called "Gravity Don't Pull Me." He's giving his name the Cher treatment and is releasing his music as Rostam. He's also unveiled the song's music video, which he directed along with Josh Goleman. [Pitchfork]

  • Austin rockers White Denim will drop their new album Stiff on March 25. Their latest single "Had 2 Know (Personal)" funky, infectious bit of psychedelic rock. I'll be stuck in your head all day. [Stereogum]
    • On April 1, Andrew Bird's new album Are You Serious will be available via Loma Vista. His latest track "Roma Fade" is a shimmering number with a haunting message. Here's how Bird describes the song: "‘Roma Fade’ is about the wordless dialogue between the watcher and the watched and the fine line between romance and creepiness. In this song, ‘she’ is a fortress of solitude, yet the observer can still affect her with his gaze." [CoS]
