As if it's not enough that local photographer Morgen Schuler volunteers her talents to KEXP, on this Thursday, March 31st, she's displaying her work in an art show to benefit KEXP's New Home! From 6:00 to 10:00 PM, KEXP DJs Evie, Morgan, and Sean will spin tunes at Sole Repair while attendees can check our Schuler's shots on the wall.

Old & New: Celebrating the Legacy of KEXP was inspired by our recent move. Schuler explains, "When I realized the old KEXP home would soon be empty, I wanted to capture the feeling of working there, volunteering there, shooting there, and even more importantly, the nostalgia and the history held within its walls. The move would be an emotional one for a great many people and the new space would be an exciting new change that should also be captured." She adds, "Old & New: Celebrating the Legacy of KEXP is a way to bring that nostalgia to the public, even if for one night, and introduce you to the new space mere weeks before the official public opening. It's an exciting time for the most influential music organization in our great city and I'm excited to share the journey with you."

Sole Repair is located at 1001 E. Pike Street in Capitol Hill. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door for this 21+ event.
