  • Dream-pop chanteuse Tamaryn shares a video as sweet as the song title for “Sugarfix,” a standout from last year’s full-length Cranekiss. The self-directed clip captures the atmospheric sound from the New Zealand-born, NYC-based artist. Watch below, and check out the exclusive mix she did for KEXP’s Midnight in a Perfect World last year. [Stereogum]

  • Former Woods/The Babies member Kevin Morby‘s third solo full-length Singing Saw hits stores tomorrow, but, if like us, you can’t wait that long, stream the single “Destroyer” below. Morby describes the track via a press release as “inevitably drifting from loved ones over time and space, knowing that life has its way of separating people.” Singing Saw hits stores tomorrow Friday, April 15th via Dead Oceans, and Morby hits Seattle on Wednesday, June 8th at the Tractor Tavern. • For the track “Does Turquoise Work?,” singer/songwriter Eleanor Friedberger turned to her bassist Jonathan Rosen for this fantastically trippy video he animated from over 1,000 of his own drawings. Watch below. The song appears on her most recent album, New View, out now on Frenchkiss. [Stereogum]

  • Sir Paul McCartney heads to Seattle’s Key Arena this Sunday, and who knows what will be on his set list! In Fresno, California last night, he performed “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Love Me Do” for the first time in fifty years. FIFTY YEARS. Watch fan-shot footage of “A Hard Day’s Night” below. We hope you already have your tickets: Sunday’s show is sold out. [Consequence of Sound]
