  • Last night, ahead of their Bonnaroo appearance, Pearl Jam made a surprise stop in Nashville to perform at Jack White's Third Man venue. They played an eight-song set and White even joined them onstage during their "Off the Earth" encore. No live video has surfaced...yet. But the performance was recorded direct-to-acetate and will be available as a limited release. [Pitchfork]

  • Later this month The Stone Roses will play their first New York City show in over two decades. If you can't make that show don't worry, today they've shared a new, funky 7-minute song called "Beautiful Thing." Hopefully this resurfacing means a new album is in the works. [Stereogum]

  • Paramore's Hayley Williams has joined Chrvches during several of their live shows to perform the Every Eye Open track "Bury It". It blows my mind how well Williams and Lauren Mayberry's vocals fit together. Check out the the official studio cut of that collaboration below. [CoS]
