  • Sleigh Bells have shared a video for their Jessica Rabbit (out November 11) track “It’s Just Us Now.” I’m not exactly sure what’s going on exactly, but it feels very intense. Sleigh Bells will be performing at Neumos on November 19. [Pitchfork]

  • On September 23, singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart will drop his ninth studio album, Ape in Pink Marble, his first full-length release in three years. The album was produced by Latin Grammy winner Noah Georgeson and Josiah Steinbrick, who also worked with Banhart on 2013’s Mala. Listen to Devendra make beautiful and melancholy plea to a discontented lover in his latest track “Saturday Night.” [CoS]

  • Copenhagen indie rockers Communions are seriously one of the most versatile bands out today, effortless straddling the line between punk rock and shimmery guitar-pop. This unique skill is on full display in their new song “Eternity.” The track serves at the B-side to their upcoming 7″, which drops on September 16. [Stereogum]

  • Yesterday, when news broke of Gene Wilder‘s death, the world seemed a little less bright. Naturally, artists have started to share their tributes to the comedic legend. Brooklyn music project Oberhofer have shared their indie electronic interpretation of Wilder’s iconic ballad “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. [Stereogum]
