It's a bummer that the new Phantogram album, Three, got pushed back from September 16th to a October 7th release, but the band share a new song to make up for it. Stream the single "Same Old Blues" below. [Under the Radar]

Film director Paul Thomas Anderson has been celebrated for his work on movies like Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood. Watch him capture Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead (and a Roland CR-78) performing the single "Present Tense" off their most recent release, A Moon Shaped Pool. It's not Anderson's first music video either (although the movie Magnolia had an Aimee Mann music video moment): he's worked with the band before on the video for "Daydreaming." Damn, a lot of great labels are celebrating landmark anniversaries this year, including bi-coastal label Polyvinyl. To commemorate their 20th anniversary, they're releasing the compilation Polyvinyl Plays Polyvinyl, with Of Montreal, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, and many other bands on their roster covering each other. For example, here's Beach Slang’s cover of “Younger Us” by Japandroids. Polyvinyl Plays Polyvinyl hits stores on November 25th. From Bumbershoot to Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Australia's Tame Impala continue to squeeze all they can from their work visa's in support of last year's LP Currents. Watch the band perform the single "The Less I Know The Better" on Kimmel's outdoor stage. Apparently, lucky attendees were treated to a five-song set, but this is the only one that aired on TV.
