  • KEXP was lucky to host an in-studio session with Okkervil River over the weekend. If you missed it, here's a consolation prize: a new video for the track "Judey on a Street" off their recently released eighth full-length, Away. Director Gabrielle Demeestere captures actor Steven Ogg, meandering throughout nature. Founding member/frontman Will Sheff explains, "This video has a lot of her own involvement. We talked a lot but not about the technical elements of it. We talked about spiritual ideas and our deep feelings about things, and she came up with this simple parable. It was cool to work with somebody and hand so much of the reins over to her. I think it’s really beautiful and fits the music really well." Watch below: [Spin]

  • Local boys Death Cab for Cutie quietly released a new song today via Spotify. The single "Million Dollar Loan" is seemingly a dig at a certain presidential candidate, but listen for yourself. It's the group's first new music since last year's Kintsugi. [Spin]

  • Brazilian psych-rockers Boogarins premiere a new song today, too -- stream the single "Elogio Á Instituição Do Cinismo," which translates to "Praise The Institution Of Cynicism." Like Death Cab, it's the band's first new music since last year's LP Manual. Listen below, and then watch the band's recent in-studio performance on KEXP's El Sonido here. [Stereogum]

  • Later today, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals stop by daytime talk show Ellen in support of their latest, Malibu. Before the show even airs, watch the group perform the track "Come Down!" below, and keep track of all these TV musical highlights with KEXP's TV Eye. [Consequence of Sound]
