Definitely one of the first bands for me to mention when people who have not been keeping up on rock bands in Mexico since the 90s ask about new rock bands from Mexico. I hear "Mexican indie rock darlings" which makes sense as they're well received in the genre and are a great band, though the darlings part always hints that you're jealous. All that was pointless to say, this is a top-notch band that you should be checking if you're looking for some inventive and danceable pop rock. "La Magia" is one of the best off their latest LP Río Salvaje which is another great progression in the band's trajectory. And the video is a must-watch, a cute nerd love story with a ridiculous twist.
