  • As we mentioned last month, The Flaming Lips are set to release a new album, Oczy Mlody, on January 13th via Warner Bros. Records. Today, we've got a new song and video to share for the single "How??" -- watch below. The video features frontman Wayne Coyne riding a motorcycle covered in stuffed animals, dealing with a major wedgie, and back in his now iconic bubble. [Pitchfork]

  • UK electronic act The Chemical Brothers drop a new song and video today, too -- check out the standalone single "C-h-e-m-i-c-a-l" below. Directors Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall created the clip using the Kinnect Camera, most often used in video games. It's also been announced that Astralwerks will reissue all their old albums on colored vinyl on December 9th, followed by standard black vinyl versions on December 23rd. [Under the Radar]

  • It's been twenty years, but the wait is over: in stores today is the sixth (and last) LP from A Tribe Called Quest. The album features guest appearances from Kanye West, Jack White, Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, Anderson .Paak, and more. Stream it in its entirety below. As we mentioned earlier this week, the band will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week, and the group have organized a pop-up shop in New York City, open November 11th through 13th. [Pitchfork]

  • Swedish singer/songwriter Jens Lekman shares new music via NPR Music. Watch him debut three new songs from the City Reliquary in Brooklyn: “To Know Your Mission,” “Hotwire The Ferris Wheel,” and “Wedding In Finistère.” Lekman says he's about 99% done with the new LP, and the songs will sound very different by the time they're on an album. Let's hear what they sound like when Lekman plays Neumos on Sunday, March 5th. [Stereogum]
