KEXP Presents: The 17th Annual Expansions MLK Unity Party

This Sunday, January 15th, KEXP is proud to present the 17th Annual Expansions MLK Unity Party, taking place this year at the Northwest African American Museum! The celebration begins at 6:00 PM and will be all ages from 6:00 – 9:00 PM, with the LIVE Broadcast happening from 9:00 PM to Midnight and the party ending at 1:00 AM. This will be the first time the entire crew -– Masa, Riz, Kid Hops — will be together, with the latest rotating host additions Alex Ruder and me, Sharlese Metcalf! All five of the hosts will be spinning throughout the night, playing special curated sets especially for the party! Join us as we gather together to celebrate the life and work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

KEXP’s Expansions has partnered with community organizations Gender Justice League, TeenTix, NOOR and Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. These nonprofits will be on site to talk about their important work and to provide outreach materials
