On Facebook, the band state, “We wanted to celebrate our hometown and revisit some of the places that remind us of our friendship, when we were growing up.” Watch below. The new album I See You is out now on Young Turks. [ Consequence of Sound ]

  • FINALLY. It’s been six years since Helplessness Blues, but this summer, Fleet Foxes will release their long-awaited third LP, titled Crack-Up. Stream the first single — a nine-minute opus titled “Third of May / Ōdaigahara” — below. The album was written entirely by frontman Robin Pecknold, produced by bandmate Skyler Skjelset, and hits the streets on June 16th via Nonesuch Records. [ Spin ]

  • With a song title like “Cry,” the new video from Strand Of Oaks is a perfectly portrayal of the ups and downs of a relationship. • It’s a song we can all relate to: punk duo PWR BTTM share the single “Answer My Text” with the rousing chorus of “ANSWER MY TEXT, YOU DICK.” Liv Bruce’s lyrics will hit home for anyone who’s currently out on the dating scene. Listen below. “Answer My Text” will appear on the album Pageant, out May 12th via Polyvinyl. [ Pitchfork ]
