  • During her concert at last year’s Iceland Airwaves Music Festival, Björk screened a virtual reality video for the Vulnicura track “Notget.” (The clip, along with videos for “Family,” “Stonemilker,” and “Black Lake,” were also screened last year at the Björk Digital exhibit in Montreal.) Today, she shares the full film, directed by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones. Watch below. The Icelandic icon brings her virtual reality videos to Los Angeles next month with a 17-night concert event. [ Stereogum ]

  • With an album title like Visuals, the pressure is on to deliver some music videos, and Danish psych trio Mew have been stepping up. Check out a lyric video for the track “Twist Quest” below, directed by frontman Jonas Bjerre and featuring the eerie illuminated birds from the album cover. Via a press release, he explains, “It’s a joyful song, with dark lyrics. I guess the song is about being confused, and unable to keep your mind still from all the stuff that floats around it. The expectations we put on ourselves. But also there’s a sense of celebration in it.” Visuals will be out April 28th via Play It Again Sam. It’ll be their first album without founding member and guitarist Bo Madsen. [ Under the Radar ]

  • Compton-based rapper YG has just announced a new album on the way, titled Just Re’d Up 3: Know Your Worth — previous volumes in the series came out in 2011 and 2013. Check out the first single “Pop It, Shake It.” below, featuring DJ Mustard who executive produced the new LP. The two previously collaborated on the EP Red Friday at the end of last year. No official release date shared yet, but stay tuned. [ Pitchfork ]

  • And Minneapolis-based rapper Brother Ali shares a single from his forthcoming release — his first new LP in five years — All The Beauty In This Whole Life. Check out the video for “Own Light (What Hearts Are For),” with scenes filmed right here in Seattle by director Dave Wilson. All The Beauty In This Whole Life is out May 5th via Rhymesayers Entertainment. [ Stereogum ]
