It's exciting enough to have a new song by Feist, but add some guest vocals from Jarvis Cocker of Pulp, and it's even more amazing. Stream the single "Century" from her upcoming LP (appropriately titled) Pleasure, her follow-up to 2011’s Metals. (Note: it's meant to end like that.) We're days away from the release of the new Father John Misty album, Pure Comedy. In its support, Mr. Misty himself (real name: Josh Tillman) stopped by German late night show Neo Magazin Royale. Watch him perform the tracks "Total Entertainment Forever" and the web-only exclusive "Pure Comedy." NYC dream-poppers Beach Fossils share a video today for the single "Saint Ivy" from their forthcoming full-length Somersault. The clip was directed by Joey Chriqui and Milah Libin (Princess Nokia “Tomboy”), and features Brooklyn-based drag queen, Merrie Cherry, among a crew of dancers. In a press release, Chriqui and Libin explain, "In uncertain times, we turn to New York City as a reassuring look into the true diversity of this country. We set out to create a vision of NYC that demonstrates a more honest and nuanced understanding of what it means to live here. This video represents the less visible places and characters that exist in beautiful harmony both in this city, and in America." Somersault is out June 2nd via Bayonet Records.
