Moderat is the collaborative team-up between German electronic heavyweights Modeselektor (Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary) and Apparat (Sascha Ring). Longtime KEXP favorites with three stellar albums under the Moderat name as well as deep individual catalogues, the trio will be joining forces once again to bring their thrilling sound to the United States for a brief North American tour that launches off this month with a performance at Coachella on April 15th, before heading to Montreal, NYC, and Los Angeles, and concluding with a 2nd Coachella performance on April 22nd. In anticipation of their upcoming tour dates, Moderat pieced together a new exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World that proudly showcases their love of cerebral, dark, progressive techno, propelled by deep immersive rhythms and hypnotic experimental textures.
