Earlier this week, UK trio alt-J released the single "3WW" as a video game; today, we get an actual video. Directed by Young Replicant (aka L.A.-based artist Alex Takacs), the band describe it as "a beautifully shot story of love and loss in Mexico." The new album Relaxer is out June 2nd via Canvasback. We're excited to announce the guys will be LIVE on KEXP on Sunday, April 23rd; catch them live at WaMu Theatre later this year on Thursday, October 12th. [ Pitchfork ]

Jeff Tweedy has announced a new covers album on the way, titled Together At Last -- covers of himself. On the new release, he'll revisit tracks with his current band Wilco, and previous side projects Loose Fur and Golden Smog. Hear his stripped-down take on Loose Fur's "Laminated Cat" below. The songs were recorded at the band's Chicago-based studio The Loft, and is the first in a series of cover LPs, boldly titled Loft Acoustic Sessions. Together At Last out June 23 via dBpm. [ Spin ]

Baltimore-based trio Future Islands are known for their electrifying live performances. Who could ever forget their absolutely impassioned performance of "Seasons (Waiting on You)" on the Late Show with David Letterman back in 2014? (Watch that again here.) Well, the guys brought it again last night on Conan with a passionate take on the single "Cave" off their latest, The Far Field. Garage rockers Black Lips have a new album coming out, the amusingly-titled Satan's graffiti or God's art?, produced by Sean Lennon. Check out the single "Squatting in Heaven" below. The LP was recorded at Lennon's studio compound in upstate New York last year, and guests include Saul Adamczewski of Fat White Family and Lennon's mother, Yoko Ono. A press release calls it, "the group's most musically evolved to date, while still staying true to their original blistering take on fuzzy, dirty rock 'n' roll."
