Song of the Day: Goldfrapp - Anymore

Today’s song, featured on the Morning Show with John Richards, is “Anymore”, by Goldfrapp, from their 2017 album, Silver Eye, on Mute Records.

Their latest release, Silver Eye, is the flip side of the same return to form coin. The powerful electronic synthiness of 2003's Black Cherry and 2005's Supernature once more finds representation in the Goldfrapp catalog.

Today's featured song, "Anymore", opens the new album with the skeezy disco crunch that kicks right into the rest of the albums profound danceability. The record flows through electronic textures from standouts like the churning largeness of “Ocean” to the cinematic rollout of “Faux Suede Drifter,” and the sugarbath “Everything is Never Enough.”

Goldfrapp has just completed the US leg of their multi national tour, and are finishing with dates in Spain, Austria, and the UK.
