KEXP Suggests: KEXPort at Kex Hostel in Reykjavik 7/14-7/15

KEXPort Block Party

Travel to the land of the midnight sun as we journey to Reykjavik, Iceland, once again to join our friends at Kex Hostel for a summer bash. KEXPort celebrates KEXP’s ongoing relationship (now in its sixth year, believe it or not!) with our similarly named hosts of our annual winter broadcast during Iceland Airwaves. Whereas then, the days are short and dark, during KEXPort, the daylight never ends, nor does the wealth of new music to discover. In past years, KEXPort sported a 12-hour, 12-band marathon featuring an eclectic mix of the country’s best contemporary bands. This year, they promise not only more new bands to discover, but second full day of performances. Already, 17 artists are in the mix, including some longtime KEXP favorites, like Sóley, JFDR, Fufanu and Vök, newer discoveries like aYia and Hórmónar, and even newer artists like Between Mountains, who we can’t wait to hear live for our first time. KEXPort has become our land of discovery.

If you happen to be in Iceland, then you have to attend this free, all-ages, two-day event, this Friday and Saturday, July 14th and 15th, in the back alley of Kex Hostel. Chances are, though, you’re not, but never fear. Even if you’re thousands of miles away from Reykjavik, you can still take part as Kex will once again offer live streaming video of the entire event.

Could you please provide a direct link to the location of the live stream.
I found a YouTube page, but it is blocked?
