  • Toronto noise-rock trio Metz have announced their next full-length Strange Peace, which will be out September 22 via Sub Pop. They've also shared a new song off the album, "Drained Lake," an industrial stomper of a song. It follows the recently released "Cellophane." KEXP is bringing Metz to Neumos on Thursday, December 7.   • Thundercat proclaimed his love for Japan's capital in the song "Tokyo," off of this year's 23-track album Drunk and now we have a visual representation of that love. In the video directed by Jun Hanamoto-Hearn, we see Stephen Bruner wander around his beloved city when he was there on tour earlier this year.   • Björk has made an exciting announcement, telling the world that a new album will be emerging from her "very soon." She posted a note on Twitter saying“I am excited to share with you that my new album is coming out very soon," accompanied by a link to pre-order the album.   • British electronic producer Actress is teaming up with the London Contemporary Orchestra to release an album this fall. Actress' Darren Cunningham pulled from performances he did with the orchestra at The Barbican Centre London and Strelka Institute Moscow to make the album. Our first taste from the album is the six-minute track "Audio Track 5." Actress released his fifth album AZD earlier this year and will be in Seattle on Wednesday, August 23 at Kremwerk.
