The War On Drugs also have a highly-anticipated forthcoming album, A Deeper Understanding. In promotion for the album, the band has recorded a cover of Warren Zevon's "Accidentally Like A Martyr" for the Spotify Singles series. They also recorded a live version of lead single "Holding On." A Deeper Understanding will be out August 25 and The War On Drugs will be in Seattle for two nights on Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10 at the Moore Theatre. [ Consequence of Sound ]

British five-piece The Horrors are releasing their 5th full-length V on September 22 and today they've shared the sweeping, dance-y 7-minute closing track, "Something To Remember Me By." It's epic and euphoric and makes us even more excited for the new album, which the band has described as a departure from their previous work. It's unfortunate that the only US dates on their tour are in LA and Brooklyn. Road trip? [ Under the Radar ]

Former Crystal Castles frontwoman Alice Glass left the group in 2014 and since then has slowly been working on her solo career. In 2015 she shared the single "Stillbirth" and now Glass has teased that she has something else up her sleeve. Glass posted a teaser on her Facebook page of a song called "Without Love," which also popped up on streaming services overseas, which means a North America release should be coming soon. Scottish post-rock band Mogwai are releasing a new album called Every Country's Sun on September 1, and today they've shared a new single and official video for "Party In The Dark." We've previously heard the song "Coolverine." The clip was directed by Craig Murray and takes us on a supernatural, sci-fi journey. Don't miss Mogwai when they hit Seattle during their world tour on Friday, November 24 at the Showbox. [ Pitchfork ]

The Clientele haven't released an album in seven years but that will soon change with their forthcoming Music for the Age of Miracles, out September 22. Today the English band gave us a taste of what that album will sound like with "Everyone You Meet." It's a sweet, elegant, pop song that's accompanied by a home-video clip directed by Paul Kelly and shot on Super 8 of the band members wandering around the Northern London suburbs and gardens. The Clientele will play Neumos on Thursday, November 9. [ Spin ]
