Charly Bliss has shared a new video, perfect for Friday the 13th, for Guppy track "Scare U." Directed by lead singer Eva Hendricks and Andrew Costa, the clip is inspired by an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called "Doublemeat Palace" from season six of the show. It casts Hendricks as a trainee at a fast food restaurant who quickly notices that things are not quite as they seem at her new place of work. Charly Bliss are playing the Showbox on Saturday, January 13 opening for Wolf Parade. [ Paste ]

Late 90's electronica duo Fischerspooner recently returned with the song "Have Fun Tonight" and an announcement of a forthcoming album called SIR, slated for release Februarys 16 via Ultra Records. The album will be their first since 2009's Entertainment. Today they shared a new song and video featuring Chairlift's Caroline Polachek called "Togetherness." The video was directed by Fischerspooner's Casey Spooner and Warren Fischer and features a guest appearance by artist/DJ Juliana Huxtable. [ Stereogum ]

A number of interesting Kurt Cobain's items are going up for auction on November 4, including his LA Blockbuster card. It will also include tour memorabilia, an early Nirvana press release, his VMA Moonman for "Smells Like Teen Spirit," a flyer for Nirvana's first-ever show with Mudhoney, and original Cobain sketches, among other items. '80s UK new wave band Tears For Fears are putting out a greatest hits compilation called Tears For Fears Rule The World, which include their first new recordings in 13 years. One of the new tracks, "I Love You But I'm Lost," has been shared with the public. It a shimmery dance-pop number that should please long-time fans.
