Seattle art-rap duo Shabazz Palaces released two albums, Quazarz: Born On A Gangster Star and Quazarz Vs. The Jealous Machines, on the same day earlier this year. Today they've shared the video for "Since C.A.Y.A.," the Thundercat-featuring opening track off of Born on a Gangster Star. The clip was directed by Stephan Gray and includes additional footage from Kahlil Joseph, who worked on Beyoncé's Lemonade film and Sampha's short film Process. Both albums are out now on Sub Pop. Björk has slowly been unveiling information about her new album, Utopia, the past few months and today she finally announced the official release date and revealed the cover art. Utopia will be released November 24 via One Little Indian. The cover art, created by frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda, features the Icelandic chanteuse in a masked costume similar to the one in her video "The Gate," released last month. Utopia has been dubbed Björk's "Tinder album" and follows up 2015's Vulnicura. [ Pitchfork ]

It's a good day for experimental art-rap. Edinburgh's Mercury Prize-winning trio Young Fathers have shared a new song today called "LORD" that they defy you to dance to, writing on YouTube "Young Fathers have finished a new album. We hope you hear it sometime in the near future, for now here is a song, a song called LORD. You can’t dance to it." They're not wrong, the grandiose piano ballad is certainly not something one should expect to hear at the club. The band also posted on Facebook and Twitter: "We’ve just finished a new album, and it’s about fucking time. Anyway, here’s a song from it, a song called LORD. See youz soon." Young Fathers' last release was 2015's White Men Are Black Men Too. [ Paste ]

Gorillaz have dropped a previously unreleased song called "Garage Palace" featuring London rapper Little Simz, who's opening Gorillaz' European shows. The track is one of 14 unreleased songs that appear on the "super deluxe" vinyl box set release (only $349.99!) of the band's latest album Humanz. The song comes with a visualizer of video game-looking stills. [ The FADER ]

Ellensburg's Mark Lanegan released Gargoyle back in April and today he's shared the video for the track "Emperor." The grim clip, directed by Joshua Lipworth, is based on "the desperate final hours of a dictator ousted by his own people and loosely based on the fall of Ceausescu, the Romanian dictator. Firmly in denial of his desperate circumstance, he marches steadfastly towards his tragic demise. His grip on reality faltering with every step. The video was shot in 16mm on location in Estonia. Predominantly in the suburbs of Tallin and the deserted underwater soviet prison camp of Rummu." Gargoyle is out now via Heavenly Recordings. [ Stereogum ]
