DJ Morgan

Mozambique-born artist Samito moved to Montreal over a decade ago with the intention of pursuing a career in music in the vibrant Montreal scene. He recently released his first full-length self-titled album last May, a very groovy set of African/Tropicalia/Electronic flavored songs with lyrics in Portuguese, French, and English. Normally a four-piece, for our KEXP x Breakglass session he played a more pared-down set with a guitarist and Samito on keyboards and vocals. It was so great to catch him during the POP Montreal fest line up!
