MGMT are releasing the follow-up album to their 2013 self-titled called Litte Dark Age sometime this year, with estimates being at some point in February. Today they've shared the third single from the album, "Hand It Over." The groovy synth-psych song follows previous singles "Little Dark Age" and "When You Die." Little Dark Age will feature collaborations with Ariel Pink and Connan Mockasin and features one track that was written while on acid with producer and former Chairlift guitarist Patrick Wimberly. Swedish sisters First Aid Kit are returning with a new album later this month called Ruins. Following in the footsteps of the endearing video for "It's A Shame," they've shared the video for "Fireworks." Directed by Mats Udd, the clip features the duo as teenagers in the 1980's, attending prom. It's a feast for the eyes, full of satin dresses, permed hair, and heavy eyeshadow. Ruins is out January 19 via Columbia. Catch First Aid Kit in Seattle on Sunday, January 28 at the Moore Theatre. [ Under the Radar ]

Portland's Moon Duo have unveiled a cover of Alan Vega's "Jukebox Babe." It will be included on a new 12-inch single of covers, with the opposite side being their take on The Stooges' 1969 hit "No Fun." On Bandcamp, they explain: "We worked up a version of ‘Jukebox Babe’ because our sound engineer Larry got it stuck in his head and was singing it all the time. We figured, we may as well play it if we’re going to hear it all the time." The “Jukebox Babe” b/w “No Fun” 12-inch is out January 19 via Sacred Bones, it follows last year's double album Occult Architecture Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. [ Stereogum ]

Hudson Mohawke's track "Foxy Boxing" has been widely bootlegged over the Internet ever since Jacques Greene played the track during his Boiler Room DJ set back in 2011. Today the song has finally made it's proper release into the world via LuckyMe's Advent compilation series, alongside tracks from DJ Paypal, Jacques Greene, and Lunice. The compilation is free just by signing up for the newsletter but the label encourages fans to donate to the ACLU. [ SPIN ]
