  • Over the weekend, on the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump's inauguration, the National shared a politically-focused video for "Walk It Back," off of last year's Sleep Well Beast. Directed by Casey Reas, the video featues grainy footage of politicians, with Reas saying: "The video documents the performance and spectacle of governance. It captures the pomp and rituals of Congress and its vainglorious, televised culture." This is the 8th video the band has shared of songs off Sleep Well Beast. [ Under the Radar ]

  • TDE has announced an incredible upcoming tour featuring an all-star lineup of its current hit-makers: Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and more. They're calling it "The Championship Tour" which is completely fitting. There's no argument that Kendrick Lamar and SZA ruled 2017 so this will be a not-to-miss tour. The 30-stop tour includes a date in Seattle on Saturday, May 5. [ NME ]
  • New Zealand psych-rock band Unknown Mortal Orchestra teased news of a new forthcoming album on Instagram last week with a short video featuring a fly. We now have more news via Uncut magazine who prematurely spilled the beans on the album. According to the mag (via Reddit), the album will be called Sex & Food, saying "New Zealand's funkiest globetrotters channel Prince and Scritti Politti on their fourth, sensational long-player." No release date has been announced but the album will be released via Jagjaguwar. [ Stereogum ]

  • Donald Glover's music project Childish Gambino will reportedly release a new album in 2018. The new LP will follow up 2016's Awaken My Love, which is up for Album of the Year for the Grammy's this year and will also likely be his last. Glover has previously said that he only had one more album before he retired the project to focus on his television and movie pursuits. No album title or release date has been announced. • Seattle's own Great Grandpa share another new video from last year's debut, Plastic Couch. Keeping with the band's impeccable sense of humor, the video gets pretty meta while it showcases the band attempting to make a music video. Shot around our fair city, there's plenty of evergreen eye candy with trees and landmarks to match the band's trademark wit. [ Stereogum ]
