Frightened Rabbit

From Selkirk, Scottland emerges Frightened Rabbit, an indie rock band that varies with sound, adding up to alternative, folk, acoustic and the prominent voice of Scott Hutchinson. The band released of their third album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, in March 2010, being praised by many critics for the sound evolution they bring, along with very optimistic lyrics thus previous materials Sing the Greys and The Midnight Organ Fight.

Frightened Rabbit has not only gained attention for their experimental style, but the way the add up to the space as the eccentric four piece likes to make music in places that relate more with cotidianity, where some of their recordings have taken place in different rooms that are not necessarily in the studios.

In support of their most recent record, Hutchinson and his band have been touring the US, perfoming at this year’s South by Southwest Music Festival for the KEXP‘s live broadcasting, and presenting a performance filled with tons of energy, and their unique style to perform on stage.
