JEFF the Brotherhood

Tennessee presents the psychedelic, punk and grunge of JEFF the Brotherhood, a two piece that knows how to make music through a dense streaming, and feeling of nostalgia that reminds of an almost extinguished genre. The band that emerged back in 2005 reached the spotlight just recently with their outlandish style to play and record tapes that referred to a jamming of the 90’s.

Heavy Days is the name of their debut album, and was released on January 2010, receiving good reception, and also, placing them as one of a kind band thus their mixture of rock and post-punk harmonies, grunge and garage rock that makes them sound more ‘classy’ than a modern band with their drums and electric guitar streaming.

Brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall brought all the energy to this edition of SXSW, performing for KEXP’s live broadcasting, and also featuring “Heavy Days“, “I’m A Freak“, “Mellow Out“, “The Ripper” and “Wastoid Girl“.
