I'm writing an honors thesis on Vietnam and Iraq protest music and am writing about masters of war. I listened to the song and your commentary on this site, but I was wondering if you could send me any more information on the song.

Hats off to Michele, Timothy and of course Dylan. It takes courage for recording artists to express their political voices. More are expressing their views today than just a few years ago. My impression is that music helps lead the way towards changes in attitudes and policy changes.
