“This Southern California band follows up last year’s promising Pikul EP with an even better album of psych-tinged indie-rock, sounding like classic Gish/Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins filtered through hypnotic My Bloody Valentine shoegaze, with lots of noisy guitar effects and powerful song hooks.” - Don Yates
Stream two songs from the new record Carnavas at their MySpace page, and check out a couple videos from the Pikul EP…

Oh how I love this band. His voice is captivating. It’s the kind of voice that no matter where you hear it, you will know it. The songs are amazing and I’m so glad we are able to champion bands like this!!
nooooo.
i completely disagree with what was said about MBV.
they sound nothing like shoegaze.
This band is amazaingg!!! Saw them in concert! Their voice is really captivating! They can make things get fast or slow things down with a nice song like “Well Though Out Twinkles”. I LOVE THESE GUYS<3
I love that the “Moon and Sun” align perfectly when I hear them play, or is that the planets? Not sure, all I do know is that their sound and words touch me deeply and make me go back through old Smashing Pumpkins CD’s to reminisce my passion for that once great band!
Wish you weren’t sold out in Victoria British Columbia on Aug. 17th 2009!
Oh well, I will just enjoy you and your beautiful music before work on my ipod :))
