Every last Friday of the month, KEXP presents a showcase of Portland Bands at The Sunset called PDXplore. It’s curated by our own John Richards, Gang of Four’s Dave Allen and Portland Tribune music writer Barbara Mitchell. The event is designed to highlight emerging artists from the burgeoning Portland scene. The showcase is a great chance to catch two acts each month at a listener-friendly happy hour show (7-9 pm) for a modest $5 cover.
