Postmodernism ain’t dead yet, at least not if this week’s Video Roundup has anything to say about it. Most of these very recent videos are so chock full of pop cultural references, you don’t know where the ripping ends and the original content begins — but that doesn’t make them any less enjoyable. Also, further upholding the relativist tendencies of video direction these days (yes, anybody CAN do it!), is the fan-compiled video for the Polyphonic Spree’s “We Crawl,” shot by members of the band’s online forum. So here you go, some originally unoriginal videos (or is it the other way around?):
Ben Lee - American Television
Tiny Masters Of Today - Hologram World (featuring and directed by Karen O)
The Duke Spirit - The Step and The Walk
The Polyphonic Spree - We Crawl (created by members of the band’s forum)

The Duke Spirit — exactly what you would expect out of a band where the lead singer plays a tambourine.
