The 2008 Spring Membership Drive is going on right now — thanks to all of you who have shown your support to listener powered radio. If you haven’t donated, please consider becoming a new or renewing member to help provide resources like the KEXP blog and the website, the Streaming Archive, podcasting, and on-air programming.

Right now the City-to-City challenge is heating up! New York is currently in the lead but they’re not eligible* — that means that Chicago is the current front-runner, but Washington D.C. and San Francisco are not far behind. If you’d like KEXP to come to your city to broadcast — with KEXP DJs and plenty of live performances — then pledge now and tell us what city you want us to visit!
Also, anyone who calls in during this show (until 2PM) will be entered to win an Epiphone acoustic guitar autographed by all four members of the Old ’97s.
*Top cities are determined by number of donors from each city.
Disclaimer: New York and Austin are not eligible to win KEXP’s live remote broadcast, since we are already planning to visit them this year. So donors in New York and Austin can specify their gift in support of another city if they’d like!
