
As promised, here are is the second half of Mingle, the debut full-length by The Saturday Knights. Since their first performance on KEXP, nearly three years ago, the genre-blending trio had been refining their sound without losing their sense of humor (just listen to the lastest single, “Dog Park”). Tilson, Barfly, and DJ Suspence get help from all sorts of folks on this album — Chris Ballew, Kim Thayil, Jack Endino, Jim Horn and the Muscle Shoals Horns, and the Budos Band, among others. The result is an eclectic mix of sounds that never lets you forget that this is good-time musicl!
