Thanks to the magic of social networking and the power of independent radio, Carson Daly stopped by the station. DJ Sharlese follows and is apparently followed by the TV host on Twitter and when she read he was here in Seattle visiting Sub Pop Records began messaging him to visit KEXP. Daly eventually came by with camera crew in tow and took a tour of the station. Ever gracious, the former MTV VJ stepped into the DJ booth with Sharlese and friend DJ No Name to spend some time chatting with Kevin Cole.

Nice work DJ Sharlese. You should have have done an Indie rock version of TRL outside the station. I would have been there screaming for that new Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band song and throwing my panties at Carson.
