On Saturday night, we’re broadcasting live from The Sunset Tavern in Ballard with Hannah Levin and special co-host DJ Rachel, bringing you live sets from Charles Leo Gebhardt IV and The Shackles. Each month for the Audioasis live broadcast, one local charity is chosen as the event’s beneficiary. This month, that charity is Teen Feed, an organization that works with the community to address basic needs, build strong relationships, and ally with homeless youth as they meet their future off the streets. Teen Feed offers free, healthy dinners for homeless youth ages 13 to 25, five nights every week in Seattle’s University District, and serves up to 70 homeless young people each night -– that’s over 11,000 dinners each year!
Charles Leo Gebhardt IV (6:30PM) recently released his debut EP Unfaithful on local record label GGNZLA. The EP is a collection of lo-fi, easy-to-love, well-written rockabilly/folk tunes. Fun fact: The album artwork was designed by Shannon Perry of local band KHV.

The Shackles (8PM) is a quartet full of sing-a-long melodies, bouncy basslines, and rickety guitar. They recently released their debut 7″ single Broken Arm on Vancouver’s Sweet Rot Records. This is scrappy pop at its best from a band that was made for house parties.
After our live broadcast, stick around at The Sunset for our Audioasis Showcase featuring Spanish For 100, The Sea Navy, and Slender Means. More info here.
