Live Review: The Very Best with Seye @ The Crocodile 8/22

The Very Best may have the best jobs in the world. If you can’t already tell by the photo above, they throw an incredibly fun show. They aren’t trying to prove anything to you. They also don’t have to coax you into dancing your ass off. Rather, as Esau Mwamwaya bounces back and forth acrossRead more...

Live Review: Poliça w/ Supreme Cuts @ Neumos 8/17

KEXP favorite Poliça tore the roof off of Neumos last Friday with an excellent set from both them and their tour opener, Chicago electronic group Supreme Cuts. Live Review: Twin Shadow with Poolside @ Barboza 8/12

If you weren’t at Barboza Sunday night, you seriously missed out. Sold out and packed to the brim, the tiny bar in the basement of Neumos was electric. Live Review: Lemonade with Le1f @ Barboza 6/12

Barboza, Seattle’s newest music venue, is packed underneath Neumos. As you round the corner and head down the stairs, all the paint changes to gold and the attitude changes. Sasquatch! Music Festival: Day 3

Hey Marseilles opened the day up on the main stage with a great set of Seattle’s favorites. Their vast instrumentation and soaring melodies drew a large crowd for a show so early in the day. As always, their songs sounded fantastic.
