Fly Away Rules and Regulations: KEXP will conduct a random drawing to determine the winner. Winners will be notified by telephone by November 4, 2012. Not eligible are KEXP employees or their immediate families, or employees of companies donating prizes. Odds are determined by the number of entries. Decision of the judges is final. KEXP reserves the right to change dates and substitute prizes of equal value.
Contest winner can fly from New York, Boston or Seattle to Iceland. After notification, the contest winner must provide us with their full legal name, as well as the name of their guest, no later than 11/5/12 so that travel arrangements can be booked. Everybody who donates online $35 or more to KEXP between 1:00pm PST October 15, 2012, and 5:00pm PST Friday, November 2, 2012, is automatically entered into our flyaway contest for a trip for two to the 2013 Iceland Airwaves Music Festival. Maximum of one entry per household. No contribution necessary.

I assume that people who started monthly giving during an earlier pledge drive are not automatically entered but would you verify that?
Also, if one signs up for monthly giving now, are they entered? What if the monthly amount is $10, which will accumulate to over $35 but doesn’t meet that threshold in the Oct 15 to Nov 2 time frame.

A trip to Iceland has always been on my dream list. I can’t imagine how much fun it would also be to add some music to al that greenery!
Hi Will and Nate, to enter to win the Flyaway you can either mail in a postcard or make a donation of $35 or more. At this time current Amplifier donors are not automatically entered to win. New donors have the option of donating when making the gift. Thanks so much for your questions!
Gwen, thanks for the answer but it wasn’t complete. If I start a $10 a month for a year donation now, does that qualify?
