KEXP invites you to an intimate acoustic matinee with Wilco on Monday, August 10th at 12:30 PM at Columbia City Theater.
Wilco will showcase new songs from their latest album, Star Wars, alongside classics from their illustrious career. Space for this special performance is very limited so reserve your tickets now. This show is 21+.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this special session with one of the KEXP community’s best-loved artists and help build KEXP’s New Home at Seattle Center.
Wilco is a Chicago sextet formed by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeff Tweedy in the mid-1990s. The band’s current lineup solidified in 2004 when guitarist Nels Cline and guitarist/keyboardist Patrick Sansone joined Tweedy, founding bassist John Stirratt, drummer Glenn Kotche, and keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen. Wilco’s brand of classic roots rock incorporates folk, pop, and genre-spanning experimentalism. The new album Star Wars is available for free download now for a limited time.
About the Campaign for KEXP’s New Home:
A shared passion for “music that matters” has inspired the listeners, artists, and curators of the KEXP Community for more than 40 years. Now, in order to increase that impact, we need to grow physically, too. KEXP’s New Home is designed specifically to reach more music lovers, break down barriers between listeners and their favorite artists, and make it even easier to share new music and experiences with KEXP Community members all over the world.
