KEXP, along with Sub Pop Records, is proud to sponsor the 2013 Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital (SMooCH). On Saturday, December 14th, a stellar lineup of northwest acts will again donate performances to raise funds for Seattle Children’s with a special concert and auction at Showbox at the Market.
“KEXP is honored to help curate such an incredible night for our music scene and for our children,” said John Richards, KEXP Morning Show Host/Producer. “This year’s lineup is an amazing, diverse mix of some of the best established and emerging Pacific Northwest talent including soul musician Allen Stone, Portland’s The Helio Sequence, Anacortes-based The Lonely Forest and Seattle’s own Shelby Earl.”
Tickets are $200 for VIP and $60 for general admission and can be purchased online The evening also features a “raise the glass auction.” 100% of event proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Doors open Saturday, December 14 at 6:00 p.m., show (ages 21+) begins at 7:00 p.m. Those who can’t attend but still want to support the event and the cause are encouraged to make a donation at Seattle Children’s instead of buying tickets.
