Goodbye, Earl Scruggs

Legendary banjo player and bluegrass songwriter Earl Scruggs passed away yesterday after a lifetime of invaluable musical contributions. Through the 40s, Scruggs played with Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys and Foggy Mountain Boys. He is credited with bringing the three finger banjo picking style to fame.
