  • Next year, HBO will broadcast a "fully authorized" Kurt Cobain documentary. Montage of Heck, named after a Cobain mixtape from the 80s, will feature great amounts of previously unheard material. According to a press release, filmmaker Brett Morgen has "no-holds-barred access to Kurt Cobain’s archives, home to his never-before-seen home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, personal archives, family archives and songbooks." Cobain's daughter Frances Bean Cobain is credited as an executive producer. [Pitchfork]

  • Sleigh Bells and Chicago rapper Tink have shared the video for their fierce collaboration "That Did It." The video was directed by Grant Singer and Sleigh Bells' Derek Miller doesn't make an appearance. It's all about ladies being bad ass and I love it. [Stereogum]

  • Last night before a Run the Jewels show in St. Louis, Killer Mike spoke out against the ruling in Ferguson, MO, uniting the crowd against oppression and "the war machine" that keeps down the poor. Watch his inspiring speech here:

  • The 10th Anniversary edition of Tegan and Sara's So Jealous will drop on December 23. It's hard to believe that their hit song "Walking With a Ghost" debuted a decade ago. In a book that will accompany the album, Sara Quin describes that track as, "my way of describing the feeling of being haunted by memories." The release will also include five brand new remixes and you can listen to Manila Killa's "Walking With a Ghost" remix HERE. [Stereogum]

  • Mogwai takes trippy to a whole new level with their "Teenage Exorcists" video. The Scottish post-rock outfit have created a nearly indescribable visual. You'll understand when you watch. [Pitchfork]
