Georgia rock band Of Montreal will drop a brand new album called Aureate Gloom on March 3. The opening track "Bassem Sabry," named after the late Egyptian journalist, serves as a perfectly funky jumping off point for the album. [Pitchfork]

Twin Shadow has announced the March 17 release date of his upcoming, third studio album Eclipse. He's also shared the video for his sexy, new single"Turn Me Up." Twin Shadow's "Eclipse Tour" wil bring him to Seattle at Neumos on April 23. [CoS]

Nashville singer-songwriter Winston Yellin, better known as Night Beds, unveiled a brilliant new single titled "Me, Liquor, & God." He's gone tastefully electric with this one. Yellin's subtle use of synths allow his stunning vocals to shine through. [Stereogum]

Belle & Sebastian's frontman Stuart Murdoch describes their new single "Nobody's Empire" as "absolutely the most personal song I’ve ever written." The track is the album opener for the upcoming Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance (out January 20).
