  • Dream-pop duo Beach House are still stomping the pavement in support of last year's two-fer releases, Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars, but they took the time to create a video for the track "The Traveller" off the latter. It's an eerie clip from the Baltimore band, featuring a woman dressed in red carrying a briefcase through the frames. What could be inside? Watch below. Beach House return to the Northwest for the 2016 Pickathon Music Festival on August 5-7 in Happy Valley, OR. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Scottish power-pop pros Teenage Fanclub also share a new video today for the track "I'm in Love," from their forthcoming full-length Here, out September 9th via Merge. Directors Donald Milne and Brian Sweeney captured the band in and around Edwyn Collins' new Clashnarrow Studios (talk about Scottish pop royalty!). Watch below. The band have also announced some North American tour dates, but nothing for Seattle yet, so I'm pouting. [Under the Radar]

  • Kentucky-based singer/songwriter Sturgill Simpson stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in support of his latest LP, A Sailor’s Guide To Earth. Watch him perform the track "All Around You" backed by a full band. KEXP presents Mr. Simpson here in Seattle on Friday, November 11th at the Paramount Theatre with the London Souls. [Stereogum]
