  • Athens, GA greats R.E.M. celebrate the 25th anniversary of Out Of Time this year with a deluxe reissue version. You can choose from three different versions: the 2-CD set has a remastered version of the original album along with early demo versions of every album track, demos for two B-sides not included on the original album, and a previously unreleased song. Go for the 3-LP set for remastered vinyls of the original album and the early demo versions of every track. Or shell out for The 25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition and get four discs featuring the remastered album, demos, live recordings from the band’s 1991 performance at Mountain Stage, and a Blu-Ray with all of the music videos from the album. It also includes an electronic press kit called Time Piece that features in-studio footage of the original recordings in progress, rare performances and more. All three versions will have liner notes by Annie Zaleski with interview from all four band members and producers Scott Litt and John Keane. The Out Of Time 25th Anniversary reissues are out November 18th via Concord Bicycle. [Stereogum]
