  • See that sweater Robin Pecknold is wearing? Apparently, the Fleet Foxes frontman took to wearing it so often that a fan created the Tumblr, "Fuck Yeah Robin Pecknold’s Sweater." This past Spring, during a Reddit AMA, he mentioned he'd been trying to get in touch with the site's "editor in chief"... and, now it's happened! See the story unfold via Instagram below. We'd also like to point out the photo above was taken in 2004. As Pecknold said himself on Instagram, "excited to see the sweater in new #situations expanding its #horizons beyond being #cozy on [his] #folkback." [Pitchfork]

  • As we reported earlier this week, French duo Air stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in support of Twentyyears, a compilation of singles and rarities. Watch the guys perform "Kelly Watch the Stars" and the web-exclusive "La Femme d'Argent," both from 1998's Moon Safari. [Under the Radar]

  • Damn, Lou Barlow, way to multi-task! While his main gig Dinosaur Jr just released their eleventh studio album Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not, Barlow managed to squeeze in some time to record a new solo EP, Apocalypse Fetish, out October 28th on Joyful Noise Recordings. The entire release was recorded on (wait for it) ukulele. But, don't freak, it's something you've heard before on the track "Poledo" off Dinosaur Jr’s You’re Living All Over Me. Via a press release, Barlow says, "Apocalypse Fetish is a 5 song extended play release from, me, Lou Barlow. The cover features a newborn child peering warily over the edge of her mother’s sling into 2016, the year that conspiracy theorists became experts and anger went [even more] mainstream. The song ‘Apocalypse Fetish’ proposes that, perhaps, many of us have been disappointed that the end of the world has taken too long to come after we’ve spent most of our lives predicting it. And, perhaps, we’ve decided to take matters in our own hands and ‘bring it on’ because, if it doesn’t come soon, then didn’t we all seem foolish talking about it all. the. time… I’d be proud to have Apocalypse Fetish be my final record." (We hope not.) Barlow appears with Dinosaur Jr. this Saturday, October 1st at The Showbox. [Consequence of Sound]

  • After walking away with the 2016 Polaris Music Prize (think Canadian Grammys), DJ/producer Kaytranada shares a video for the track "You’re the One" off the award-winning debut LP 99.9%. Both the track and the video feature Syd tha Kyd of Odd Future, and together, the pair pay homage to '90s sitcoms Martin and Living Single. There's even a sub-plot reminiscent of the 1988 Eddie Murphy film Coming to America. Someone give this guy another award. KEXP Presents on Saturday, October 1st at Showbox SoDo. [Spin]
